Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Drone Marine platform ("Service"), including our web application and mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Drone Marine ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Service.
By creating an account, you represent that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent.
Service Description
Drone Marine is a comprehensive maritime management platform that provides the following services:
Fleet Management
Track, manage, and monitor your vessels and fleet operations in real-time.
Crew Management
Organize crew schedules, certifications, roles, and onboard communications.
Maintenance Tracking
Schedule and log maintenance tasks, inspections, and service records.
Maritime Marketplace
Connect with suppliers, service providers, and spare parts vendors.
GPS Navigation
Integrated GPS tracking and navigation tools for maritime use.
Document Management
Store and manage vessel certificates, insurance, and compliance documents.
User Accounts
To access certain features, you must create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate
- Maintain the security of your password and accept responsibility for all activities under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security
- Not create more than one account per person or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization
- Not share your account credentials with third parties
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
- Infringe upon the rights of others, including privacy and intellectual property rights
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
- Use the Service for any fraudulent or deceptive purpose
- Scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to access the Service without permission
- Misrepresent your identity, vessel information, or maritime credentials
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Drone Marine and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code of our software, unless laws prohibit these restrictions or you have our written permission.
The Drone Marine name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of Drone Marine. You must not use such marks without our prior written permission.
Vessel Data & Content
You retain ownership of all data, documents, images, and content you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store & Process: Store and process your data to provide and maintain the Service.
- Display: Display your content within the platform as necessary for Service functionality.
- Backup: Create backups to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery.
You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not violate any third-party rights and complies with applicable maritime regulations.
Payments & Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service may require a paid subscription. If you choose a paid plan:
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan.
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your plan.
- All payments are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or as explicitly stated in our refund policy.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days advance notice.
- Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Limitation of Liability
Important Notice
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Drone Marine shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
Drone Marine does not guarantee the accuracy of GPS data, navigation information, or maritime data provided through the Service. Users should always rely on certified maritime navigation equipment and follow applicable maritime safety regulations.
Our total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the app. Upon termination:
- Your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
- We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.
- You may request export of your vessel data prior to account deletion.
- Any outstanding fees remain payable.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in Cairo, Egypt.
Where applicable, international maritime conventions and regulations may also apply to the use of certain features of the Service.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time at our sole discretion. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect through email notification or a prominent notice within the Service.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
