This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted for services purchased through our platform β including charter bookings, platform subscriptions, marketplace listings, and crew management services.
By using Drone Marine services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy. We encourage you to read this document carefully before making any purchase.
Refund Eligibility
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. To be eligible for a refund, the following general conditions must be met:
Charter Services
Charter bookings are subject to the following cancellation and refund schedule:

Subscriptions & Plans
Platform subscription fees are handled as follows:
Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time. No refunds are issued for the current billing month. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions cancelled within 14 days of purchase will receive a prorated refund for the unused months, minus a 10% administrative fee. After 14 days, no refunds are issued for annual plans.
Free Trial Upgrades
If you upgrade from a free trial, your subscription begins on the upgrade date. A 7-day refund window applies from the first charge.
Marketplace Listings
For yacht listings and charter advertisements on the Drone Marine Marketplace:
Listing Fees
Listing fees are non-refundable once the listing has been published and made visible to the public.
Duplicate Listings
If a listing is accidentally duplicated, contact support within 24 hours for a full refund of the duplicate fee.
Rejected Listings
If a listing is rejected by our moderation team, any paid listing fee will be refunded in full.
Promoted Listings
Promotional fees for featured/boosted listings are non-refundable once the promotion period has started.
Crew & Manning Services
Refunds related to crew placement and manning services are subject to the following terms:
Placement Fees
If a placed crew member does not join within 7 days of the agreed start date through no fault of the yacht owner, a 50% refund of the placement fee will be issued.
Replacements
If a crew member leaves within 30 days of placement for reasons attributable to Drone Marine, we will provide a free replacement or issue a credit to your account.
Training Fees
Training and certification fees are non-refundable once training sessions have commenced.
Assignment Cancellation
Crew assignment cancellations made more than 48 hours before the start date may be eligible for a partial refund subject to review.
How to Request a Refund
To submit a refund request, please follow these steps:

Provide Details
Include your account email, the service/booking reference number, the reason for the refund, and any supporting documentation.
Review Period
Our team will review your request within 3β5 business days and may reach out for additional information.
Decision & Processing
You will receive an email confirming approval or denial. Approved refunds are processed within 7β10 business days.

Disputes & Chargebacks
We strongly encourage customers to contact our support team before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card issuer. Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution through Drone Marine may result in:

Drone Marine reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. The "Effective" date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent update.
